Way back in 1990 I processed my first roll of film by hand, then headed to the darkroom and learned how to make prints. For more than eight years I did my own processing and printing, mostly black & white and occasionally color. So I'm no stranger to shooting film. Digital came along and the anticipation over seeing images from a freshly developed roll of film disappeared. Instant gratification is king now. Recently I've been playing around with my Holga (a $30 plastic camera) and film. While I didn't process or print these myself the anticipation of waiting to get that roll of film back made me feel like a kid in a candy camera store all over again.
