Outsourcing my editing has been one of the best investments in my business since it frees up my time by taking away work that I don’t enjoy doing, giving me more time to do the things I love! I call that a win-win! I’ve tried a few different services and Photographer’s Edit is my hands-down favorite!
When I get home from a wedding, I download images from my cards (backing them up in multiple places, of course!) Then I import my images into a standalone Lightroom catalog. Sidenote: if you’ve got a giant Lightroom catalog with 713,134, 511 images in it, what are you doing with your life? Haha!
A quick cull (if I’m doing that myself, more on that below) then I export the catalog with smart previews, upload the catalog to dropbox, and share the link with Photographer’s Edit. Since my preferences are on file, that’s that easy!

Maybe you just need color correction or maybe you’re super swamped (hello, wedding season!) and need someone to cull your images for you in addition to 
color correcting. Photographer’s Edit has got you covered. I typically prefer to do my own culling since there are sometimes photos from the wedding day that don’t translate as “must keep” unless you were there. But every so often I get super duper slammed and use their culling services as well and I’ve gotta say, they’re spot on!
They also offer detailed retouching services, which I’ve never used, but it’s nice to know they exist should the need arise!
