It’s no secret that Epcot is my favorite Disney Park. Hellooooo, Food & Wine Festival! So I was super excited when Victoria booked me for her Epcot marriage proposal. I was even more excited when she wanted to propose to Ember at the Japan Pavilion. Victoria popped the question and Ember popped it right back! Congrats, you two!
World Showcase had just opened when the couple arrived at the red torii gate. Overlooking World Showcase lagoon, this spot can get quite crowded later in the day. In our planning discussion, Victoria consciously made the choice to propose early in the day to avoid crowds.
I love everything about this. From their mouse ears to their fun floral print skirts, Victoria and Ember look adorable! And if this isn’t the iconic Epcot marriage proposal picture, I don’t know what is!
Great minds think alike! After Victoria proposed, Ember popped the question right back!
We did some photos by the pagoda, which is a replica of a 7th century Horyuji Temple.
The surrounding gardens are beautiful and I especially love this bamboo!
And the lanterns! I love the lanterns! Heck, I just love everything about this pavilion and this proposal!
From the Japan pavilion, it’s just a short walk over to the Morocco pavilion.
The architecture in the Morocco pavilion is stunning and a completely different vibe than the Japan pavlion.
I love all the archways and mosaic patterned tiles. The vibrant mix of colors is just so fun!
